STEP 2: WE CALL YOU BACK WITHIN 1 BUSINESS DAY
A real person from our front desk will call to confirm your appointment, answer any questions, and make sure we have everything we need before you arrive.
STEP3: YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
Plan for about 60–90 minutes for your first visit. We’ll take X-rays, do a full exam, and — if time allows and it’s appropriate — get started on your cleaning.
STEP 4: WE FOLLOW UP THE NEXT DAY
After your appointment, someone from our team will call to check in and make sure everything went smoothly. It’s a small thing. But it’s something we do for every patient, every time — because we actually want to know.
We Accept Most Major Insurance Plans
South Penn Dental is in-network with most major PPO dental insurance plans. If you’re not sure whether we accept yours, call us before your visit and we’ll check — it takes about two minutes and we’d rather know ahead of time so there are no surprises.
If you don’t have insurance or are between plans, we’re happy to talk through payment options at your first visit. We believe cost shouldn’t be the reason someone puts off care they need — and we’ll always be upfront about what things cost before we do anything.

South Penn Dental is a general practice — not a pediatric specialty office. What that means for your family is one trusted relationship for everyone, not a separate referral across town for the kids.
Cooperative kids get excellent care with the same warmth and gentleness their parents experience. We take the time to explain what we’re doing, we move at a pace that works for them, and we offer nitrous oxide for children who need a little extra support.
