WHY DID YOU CHOOSE SOUTH PENN DENTAL?

That’s not something you can manufacture. It took sixty years to build and it’s what every decision we make here is designed to protect.
WHAT DOES BETTER DENTISTRY MEAN TO YOU?
It starts with giving people a completely different experience than what they’re bracing for. A lot of patients have had something happen in a dental chair that they’re still carrying around. My favorite part of this job is changing that — taking the time to make it easy, faster, genuinely painless. It’s a bonus if I can keep you laughing.
But the best version of that story is the one where you never needed the complicated appointment in the first place. We invest heavily in technology and technique so we can catch things early, stay ahead of problems, and keep you out of situations that are painful, expensive, and avoidable. That’s what better dentistry looks like to us — and it’s what we’re building this practice around.

Dr. Kelly
Founded South Penn Dental on South Pennsylvania Avenue. Built a loyal following from scratch over 25 years of practice.
1991
Dr. Kohs
Took over after Dr. Kelly’s passing and led the practice for over 30 years. The patients who’ve been coming here the longest remember him well.
2019
Dr. Kariya & Bui
Carried the practice forward through a period of growth, bringing new technology and expanding the team.
2025
Dr. Berg
Current owner. Making sure the standard that defined this practice for nearly six decades is the standard every patient experiences today.
